Very nice lake. Great views & very peaceful. Too busy to enjoy on weekends. Weekdays are a good time to get out there
Lovely lake. Picturesque views. Amazing hikes. Excellent place for picnics. Has a decent sized parking lot. It can get crowded on weekends & holidays. Plan to get here early. Opportunities for fishing and canoeing. There is also a campground nearby.
In the summer the parking lot gets full, so they don't allow cars to get in. Even for unloading all of your stuff, then you have to walk for 45 min. Once we got to parking lot, there was over 20 spots available. But it's a great place.
Its a nice place to go and relax. There are lots of places to sit but not a lot of shaded areas if you have kids that need it. There is also no canteens to get snacks so make sure to bring your own. Also make sure to go early because space is limited
Beautiful hike. Almost 10k around the lake. Bring lots of water! At the end of the hike you can take a dip...so refreshing! Get there early on the weekend as the parking lot fills so quickly!
